Hall of Famer

I live a long ways from NYC but for a very long time I have read the New York Post every morning. Mostly for Ranger coverage and the must read and eagerly anticipated Brooks columns. IMO the best ever writer. He will be missed R.I.P.

Larry was THE best Ranger beat writer ever, He knew the NHL and he certainly knew the Rangers like no other, he had the inside information on everything New York Rangers and shared it with all of us, he studied the CBA and knew it backward and forward. He was controversial at times but always gave the facts even when some didn't like it. There is no other writer IMO that told it like it was AND faced the music like Brooksie did. His Sunday story called "Slap Shots" was the best, I looked forward to it every week. Hopefully Molly Walker can carry the torch that Brooksie made shine so bright. I will miss you Larry, Rest now ole friend, God bless Larry Brooks
