NYR Draft

2nd round - 43rd pick: L - Malcolm Spence
NY Rangers select Malcolm Spence with pick No. 43 in 2025 NHL Draft
The 18-year-old racked up 73 points (32 goals and 41 assists) with a plus-10 rating in 65 games last season and has impressed scouts with his speed and work rate. He's a high-effort forechecker who plays with pace on both ends and has flashed enough offensive ability to warrant a top-50 pick.Spence was graded as first-round caliber by most draft rankings, which explains why the Rangers chose to take value over need.

3rd round - 70th pick: D - Sean Barnhill
6-5 214lbs, will play for Northeastern this Fall. Sounds like a guy who needs work, but if he figures it out, could be something.

3rd round - 89th pick: D - Artem Gonchar
Skinny 6-1 guy who looks like he might be a poor version of his dad or uncle (depending on reports) Sergei
Looks like he's risen up the ranks a bit, but is pretty light

4th round - 111th pick: C - Mikkel Eriksen
Projects to be a bottom 6 or middle six forward

5th round - 139th pick D - Zeb Lindgren
6-2 198lv Swede

6th Round - 166th pick: R Samuel Jung
6-3 174lb Polish born player who plays in Czechia, has played for the national team in U16, U17 and U19. Seems like the type of project you'd expect in the 6th round

6th round - 171st pick: D - Evan Passmore
6-4 217lb raw defenseman who perhaps could amount to something if he can progress on his game.

7th round - 203rd pick: D - Felix Farhammer
6-1 Swedish defenseman who is more of your two-way kind of defender, but needs a lot of work on his game as you'd expect from a 7th rounder

If they need me to bleed, then I'll bleed for my team
