Treat this as your last chance in New York, your on a very short leash. If you want some instruction on what you need to do to be a factor and able to knock someone out of the lineup and replace them, I tell you this. Ask the team video custodian for the game tape when Ryan Callahan made his debut. Study his play then go out and do it. He was a dawg on a bone the entire game. Hitting everything that moved. I can't remember if he got any points, but he left the coaches zero choice but to play him. Don't be a spectator, be a agitator.

I hope its more than that. I've seen Othmann coming up to pro hockey and if he can translate his Junior game to the NHL he's a keeper. Obviously had his struggles, and I hope if he gets a chance he can take the step needed. I gotta believe he's a step up on Sheary.
I would rather give someone like Othmann a chance than a Sheary who's game is limited or even Laf who gives you 1 or 2 good shifts per game. The only way you can showcase Othmann is to put him in a position to succeed and see what he can do. Does anybody really think Sheary is on this team because he has earned his spot? He would probably clear waivers

So, Othmann is still in the press box....looking more likely he's not going to get in the lineup.
