Predictions Team And/Or Players 2025-2026 Season

After watching most of the training camp games, it was much more of last year. The descriptive word being float. When Laba is the only bright spot you may have a problem. Everyone vying for bottom six spots were dismal. Rempe, Edstrom, Garrick(hurt) Parsnips, Sheary, Radish, and Bérard were mediocre, none putting in that extra effort to stand out.
Defense Fox looked like last years version, a guy with a little to much of a swelled head after a few years back Norris Trophy, or a guy, now gun shy after a couple knee injuries. The hilarity I’m reading about Lindgren causing all his problems, will be put to an end I’m sure early. Unless Gavrikov can do his own job and cover for Fox’s constant weak play. Borgen and Soucy as a pair to replicate their time in Seattle gives me zero hope.
Sullivan doing a fine job of babbling the standard coach 101 playbook quotes and not much else. Didn’t have a lot of faith in his hire, just another Drury BC love fest hire. I hope for the best but find it hard to believe in this group from top to bottom including Drury.

Well not to steal your thunder, but here's the practice lines today (Brodzinski with his wife). Assuming Sheary is signed, the Rangers will have to still send someone down.
Cuylle-Miller-Zibanejad
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière
Sheary-Laba-Raddysh
Edström-Carrick-Rempe
Pärssinen, Berard
Gavrikov-Fox
Soucy-Borgen
Vaakanainen-Schneider
Robertson
Shesterkin
Quick

And just to be clear, the NYR will have to send down at least one more player...and can send down as many as 4 if they want to.
Berard and Laba are the two waiver exempt players left on the roster

Spoken like a Ranger fan who watched every game last season 😉
I do not think it will be that bad.
Excellent goalie tandem.
Fox will be much better playing with Gavikov. Lindgren was a mess last season and K Miller was K Miller. Fox and Gav will pull big minutes, but they will be able to handle it. Borgen is fine playing second pair. Schneider was injured last season and should also be better. Between Vaaka and Soucy and playing an easier to operate d system, things might work out on d. Morrow needs some time to figure out d and should be up if needed. If the d system focuses on the Rangers going from leading the league in high danger chances to a middle of the league rank, they will make the playoffs.
I think Rempe/Carrick/Edstrom will be a difficult 4th line for most teams to deal with. Rempe progressed all last season. I see no reason to assume he will regress.
The main questions are with the 3rd line. Parssinen/Raddysh/Sheary/Laba/Berard - the easiest thing to do is start Laba on Hartford #1 line to see how the other 4 operate.
The top 6 are pretty much set barring injuries. Maybe the Miller Zib pairing really works.
Brodz is the extra forward right now.
Last year was a cluster eff of cascading stupidity. Lav had all season to fix the "too many high danger chances" and never did. I guess he just gave up.
I think they make the playoffs and the goalies can carry them even beyond a round.
1 Cup in 84 years
2048

It's official Conor Sheary signs 1 year, 2-way contract for $775k
Brett Berard sent to Hartford (he was waiver exempt)
