PRESEASON GAME 4: NYR at NYI - 7:00pm

While losing 3-0.
This is going to be a long season.

Posted by: @itsmcilrathtimeQuick was washed up two years ago. Another moronic Drury move. Should have just gone with Garand.
Garand as a backup doesn't make a whole lot of sense yet, having him sit out for 2/3 to 3/4 of the season as a backup isn't going to help him

Robertson with a nice play on Barzel
If they need me to bleed, then I'll bleed for my team
Hard to draw too many conclusions from preseason but I wonder if this core of players has been kept together too long.

Panarin-Trocheck-Lafreniere = all -3

It was my understanding that they were grooming Garand to be Shesty's backup.Posted by: @fishPosted by: @itsmcilrathtimeQuick was washed up two years ago. Another moronic Drury move. Should have just gone with Garand.

Garand did not look all that good in Hartford until the playoffs. Needs another year in the A, IMO.

That may end up being the case, but he is still adjusting to the pro game

It's like a playoff game

I miss Newbomb and hate seeing him as an Asslander

Posted by: @fishPosted by: @AnonymousEdstrom is miles ahead of Rempe,.
I think Rempe is more likely to be an NHLer because the way he plays fits more of a 4th line role. Edstrom has more skill, but needs to get quicker to make it to the NHL. If I was to predict, I don't think Edstrom gets to the NHL, Rempe might get a shot on a team that doesn't have much chance of making the playoffs.
Edstrom is not a scrapper but another year in Hartford just might convince him some more physicality won’t hurt. At this point Rempe can’t carry Edstrom skates.
