Unlike most Rangers forwards, Erne has the ability to hit consistently. Goodrow was 3rd in hits last year at 170. In the 2022-2023 Det season Erne had 160 hits in 61 games and has hit numbers like that 4 times. Carrick has had triple digit hits in 3 seasons. It is a steep drop off after the first 3 forwards.
