Rempe sent down

He stood in there against McIlrath last night. But he also took the worst of the shots, and that is becoming a bit of a theme.

Rempe had 8 shifts and 5:01 vs Wash (5-3 loss). He beat his penalty minutes. He is not ready for the NHL. It is not a big deal at his age. The difference is in his skating and it is obvious when you watch him. Edstrom, Jonny B, Vesey are all better suited to the 4th line than Rempe. We know that Vesey and Brodz can fill in for a game or 2 on the higher lines and even Edstrom might be able to play up.

Rempe sent down could be awhile. Vesey back And some line juggling in practice.
Panarin Zib Laf
Cuylle Trochek Smith
Kreider Chytil Kakko
Edstrom Garrick Vesey.

Best place for Rempe right now. And might as well experiment with line up changes earlier in the season rather than late

I kind of like them.

Zib needs a breather from Kreider. Spends to much time looking for him instead of taking his shots and attacking the net. And it wouldn't surprise me if Kakko found a game feeding Kreider. After all his game appears to pretty much be try to control the puck down low and feed the front of the net. If Trochek gets going and Smith dusts off his physical game along with the rising Cuylle that line could be the line the Rangers haven't had for a long long while. As mentioned I like em and will be interesting to watch.
