He is shooting more and dangling/passing less.
Why is he better this year (so far) as opposed to past years?
Commitment?
Coach/System?
Playing with Laf?
Haircut?
Whatever it is, it's sure been fun to watch.

Seriously, Panarin is one of those players that needs support guys to help him reach his full potential. Either someone to feed him the puck or someone to convert his passes into goals. Lafreniere can be both. When he has neither on his line, he tries to do it all himself and becomes a turnover machine.
