The announcement marks the start of Wheeler's front office career. He retired in July after playing 1,172 career NHL games.

Ryane Clowe - Assistant GM
Blake Wheeler - Advisor to Hockey Operations

Ryan Martin moves up to Associate GM
Jim Sullivan promoted to Assistant GM

Also added three scouts

Mark Pryor - CHL/NCAA
Mark Flood - Pro
Darryl Williams - Pro
