I have not seen him enough to know about his hockey skills. On the plus side - he has played regular minutes in 100 NHL games already. He is clearly a top fighter. However, if he is a 7th D type on a crap Canadians team there is no way I want him on the Rangers.
Plus it really looks like mancini can play regular minutes as can Jones. There is really no room for Xhekaj.

Not sure either. Although a trade for Jones would be a go for me. But Montreal doesn't need another dman especially a small one. The Rangers could afford him in the lineup when needed. He just might be adequate on a good team with a good partner. Train him fulltime on the keep it simple philosophy. But will likely never happen.

Well it’s becoming glaringly apparent Rempe will be odd man out when Vesey returns unless something trade wise happens. Rempe obviously does not have Laviolette’s trust.
Very difficult to execute a trade with Montreal because of the issues there in the front office.
Aside from that, he's an agitating type player and don't see him as a huge improvement to the team. He'd be the worst defenseman playing and a risk to be in the penalty box (going down to 5 men), which I don't think is as helpful. I think you could probably do better with Jones on a trade than this guy...so no from me.
