Wojtek Wolski Comes To Training Camp A Changed Man

As the “Tort”ure gets underway at training camp this week, one player that has stood out so far on day one, is Wojtek Wolski.

After being drafted 21st overall in 2004, things seemed to unfold the way they should for a 21st overall pick. He put up 128 points playing for the Brampton Battalion of the OHL in 2005-2006 in only 57 games, leading to him getting called up to the big leagues.

Day 2 Summary

The Rangers completed their skating workouts Saturday with a second set of drills.  Marian Gaborik – who had been in his native Slovakia – returned to the ice, as did Artem Anisimov after he received a clean bill of health on his knee.

Mike Sauer, still nursing a tender knee, skated on his own and could be inserted into the full team practice tomorrow if everything goes well.  One player who isn’t feeling any pain is Brandon Dubinsky, who feels no ill effects from a late season leg injury.
