Gilroy To Make Season Debut
Matt Gilroy is scheduled to make his first appearance for the Rangers tonight as the Rangers reshuffle their line-up in the absence of the injured (shoulder) Ryan Callahan. Taylor Pyatt will move up onto the second line, Mike Rupp to the third and Stu Bickel will slot in as the fourth line wing for the second time this season.
With Bickel moving up, Gilroy will get his chance to play, and Steve Eminger will be a healthy scratch. The 28 year old native will be making his 128th appearance for the Rangers, but the first since departing as a free agent after the 2010-11 season.
