Ronning Signed
Capping off their signings this week, the Rangers have come to terms with forward Ty Ronning on a one-year $750,000 deal. The agreement means the 24 year old right winger – and son of former NHLer Cliff Ronning, will get another shot at trying to break into the NHL with the Rangers.
A former draft pick of the Rangers – 2016 – 7th Round – Ronning had spent much of his career inthe ECHL prior to last season. With no ECHL season for the Mariners last year, Ronning was invited to play with the Wolfpack, making the most of his opportunity.
