The Philadelphia Flyers today reclaimed forward Mike Siklenka from the New York Rangers and assigned him to the Phantoms. The 6′ 5″ winger was acquired less than a month ago by the Rangers in the NHL Waiver Draft, but played just one NHL game with New York. The lanky forward found it difficult to break into the Rangers line-up and made little impression in the limited playing time he was given.
The former Washington Capitals draft pick (118th overall, 5th round in 1998) returns to the team that gave him his NHL debut, but will no doubt find it equally difficult to find a place on the deep Flyers.
