Will now allow CHL players (WHL, QMJHL, OHL and others like the BCJHL) to now be allowed to play in the NCAA. Previously, because they are considered professional leagues, those players were barred from joining US College hockey programs. It'll start next year, so we should start to see a handful of players, I suspect particularly those late developers, to make the switch to NCAA, or at least attempt to.
