The New York Rangers (27-13-2 ) host the Seattle Kraken (19-5-9) before they hit the road for a four-game road trip.
The Blueshirts played back-to-back games against the Washington Capitals over the weekend and split the home-and-home affair. The Rangers lost 3-2 in Washington on Saturday and ended their four-game losing streak on Sunday with a 2-1 victory.
The puck is set to drop at Madison Square Garden at 7:00 p.m. Following tonight's game, the Rangers trek west to play the defending Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, January 18th at 10:00 p.m.

The Rangers skated today at the MSG training facility. According to Colin Stephenson of Newsday, Igor Shesterkin was the first goaltender off the ice, signifying he will start for the second game in a row (17-10-0, 2.83 GAA, .903 SV%).
