I’m tempted to ask if Kreider in the lineup tonight. I know he is, and doing nothing as usual to lead by example. But those hugs and high-fives after the game are so important.

Kreisler is a cancer. Terrible example for younger players who are smart enough to see through Kreisler’s act. Sitting on the bench watching him avoiding contact every time he can. I’ve watched him for years and it’s same old same old. Another classic example in the first had a puck moved up to him on the wall in the Ranger end, all he had to do was take a stride to get to it and dump it out if he didn’t have a play. Instead with zero urgency, got to the puck now with a Duck and back down to the Ranger corner the puck goes. But Kreider didn’t have to take a hit. I’ve watched him since day one. Same shit every game. Had a guy who played in the NHL tell me a long time ago the single most important job for a winger in his end is either clear the puck or make a pass when a defence man, who usually has to work his bag off, moves the puck up to the winger. Younger players see that crap and why would they play any harder. Messier would have come unglued on Kreider.
