Meh, Berard aint moving the needle, either. 4th line pest energy guy and gets tossed around pretty easily by larger opponents. I would never exchange Perrault for Berard in this situation. Unfortunately, Kreider is still better odds of scoring than Perrault or Berard. As long as they are not eliminated CK is going to play.
I think CK is still injured (maybe unfixable back) and that is why they could not trade him. His contract is affordable, but at almost 35 with all the hits he has delivered and received, his body might be done.

Does that CK hit number really make sense to you? Just this season alone he is at 78 hits in 63 games. These are NHL hit numbers, so they can be off slightly, but .32 times 63 games is 20 hits this season??? That is a Panarin hit rate. According to a couple of stat sites, CK has 1592 hits in 878 games during his NHL career.
