At Sheary’s present pace 2.5 goals this year. Not bad for a guy his Uncle in law has managed to play him top six minutes most nights.
How in earth is Colorado just 2-6 in OT? When you can play Mackinnon and Makar in 3 on 3 hockey, that record should be the other way around.

Oh no, MacKinnon can be downright dreadful at 3v3 hockey. His game is predicated on creating space where there isn't any, so sometimes you'll see him bulldoze through a couple defenders or just plain turnstiling a guy with his speed along the boards. When there's so much space he needs to be a little more judicious and not just charge in like he likes to do and it's hard for him to resist that. He's also never been all that great defensively and tends to leave opposition guys wide open in OT. Took forever for him to figure it out when 3v3 started and he's regressed a bit this year. Luckily for him he caught Borgen & Co. tired. Nifty move on his part though.
Also they suck ass in the shootout. They don't really have a go-to guy and MacKinnon, again, likes to just bull rush in and make a quick move or snap shot, doesn't really work when the goalie is ready for you.
I just don't like this version of the Rangers. They have an effective forecheck and Sully has them playing a decent defensive system but there just isn't enough skill on the roster, especially the back end. They also just need to move the fuck on from Lafreniere, that dude is nothing more than a secondary scoring winger.
