Unsurprising given where he's at in his development, perhaps would have been better to move him over the Summer, but here we are...can't imagine there's as much value now

I think it’s a mistake to trade him without giving him one more shot, IF he earns it in Hartford. After last season I think he came to camp a little to confident he would earn a job. He stubbed his toe. Many players have. When on, Othmann has a package most teams crave. He does have to play his game at the NHL level. I think trading him could bite the Rangers. He goes to the right team and gets ice without the pressure he’s probably feeling in New York and he just might become a player.
