I have noticed Lafreniere is not afraid to jump in every time there is a scrum. After Panarin's perfectly legal hit on Oshie, and the Washington attack on Panarin, Laf came flying in to help out. Something I noticed him doing more than a few times during the year. He's developing into a very well rounded player with that elite skill package. Looking more and more like a first overall pick as his career progresses.

  • @pv29 seriously? Mcalrath was a bust, the Rangers knew it and dumped him, even before his injury he sucked!  punk minor league player....

@rangernut when MacIlrath was drafted, the Rangers desperately needed a player like him. He suffered a major knee injury which hurt him big time and took him a year or three to recover from. And the Rangers did a terrible job of working with him. But that was typical Ranger management in those days. Not even smart enough to know what they drafted and worse yet how to develop the prospect.

One thing I think about when I hear the name, IT'S MCILRATH TIME!

Somebody said it earlier, but after his knee injuries he lost a step (that he didn't have to begin with) but then when he lost that fight to Simmonds of the Flyers he had no use. But to sum up his career he is an average at best 7th or 8th Dman

If they need me to bleed, then I'll bleed for my team
