The Rangers didn’t play their best game of the playoffs but it gives a guy a lot of hope when they can win those types of games. Chytil showed why he needs to be in there. At some point I think he replaces Wennberg and Cuylle gets back on the line with Chytil and Kakko. But that’s for another day. Great important win. That all but buries the Canes.

I'd ultimately push Wennberg down to the 4th line and move Cuylle back up. I thought Kakko looked more confident playing next to Chytil as well...and remarkably, the only goal scored with Kakko on the ice in the playoffs was that 6v5 goal by Guentzel in Game 1. Obviously we want more offense, but that defensive side has been under appreciated

Yes once Chytil has his legs I also would like to see him reunited with Kakko and add Cuylle to that line. All kinds of skill and Cuylle's physical yet skilled game a good add. But I'd like Goodrow and Vesey left as is and add a winger to that mix. Maybe Edstrom, maybe Wheeler gets back. Wennberg does some stuff but zero physicality neccessary on the bottom end of the roster. Johnny B might even be a better fit on the fourth line.

I just don't think Lav has trust in Rempe late and close... After A Presidents Trophy and 7 straight wins in the playoffs I don't want to second guess Laviolette.I would prefer to see

Laviolette has pushed all the right buttons for sure. I'm just thinking if he's looking to keep other teams off balance in their preparation, then I like those two bottom lines for a game.
