Carolina hosts Columbus today at 5pm, play in Boston on Tuesday, then on the road at St Lous, at Chicago, and at Columbus. Not a tough schedule, but on the road for their final four games.

Boston's final 4 is Carolina home, Pittsburgh and Washington on the road, Ottawa at home. Their schedule certainly favors the Rangers.

Dallas is at Colorado today at 9pm, then end with 4 games at home vs Buffalo, Winnpeg, Seattle, and St Louis.

If the Rangers win tonight, and Carolina lose to Boston in Regulation, then the Rangers will clinch the Metro division title and home ice through the first two rounds

Soooo...one interesting thing, if the NYR win one of their remaining 3 games, then the actual magic number to clinch the East and Metro titles would drop to 1, because they would have the first tie-breaker on Wins...so if the Rangers go 1-1-1 the remainder of the season, they'll clinch both.

The President's Trophy they have the first tie breaker too, so again if they win a game, their number would drop by 3, regardless of what Dallas does.  So there's that going for them.

With Dallas losing to the Jets last night, things change slightly.
