He came back a couple of days ago and remains in a non-contact jersey, but appears to not be as serious as perhaps they first thought

Great. Laviolette will play him 7 minutes. So what? Should have let him stay in the A playing 18 minutes a game. If you have watched him play, you can see the potential, but 7 minutes a game is not going to help him become a better player.
