Grenier Re-Signs
The Rangers have announced that they have re-signed Martin Grenier. The Quebec native will be looking to put an injury plagued season behind him this year, which saw him miss almost 60 games with a recurring injury to his thumb. Acquired in March 2004 as part of the deal that sent Martin Rucinsky to Vancouver, Grenier will be looking for spot duty in the NHL this season as an enforcer, but has plenty of competition to deal with.

Giroux Back For More
The Rangers have announced that they have re-signed Alexandre Giroux. Giroux is coming off his best season as a pro, with 32 goals and 22 assists in 78 appearances with the Wolf Pack. Originally acquired in the trade that sent Greg de Vries to Ottawa, Giroux is still looking for a chance to make his NHL debut, but will likely have to force his way onto the roster with strong play in the AHL and perhaps an injury to one of the Ranger veterans.
