Earlier today New York Ranger General Manager Glen Sather dealt winger Marian Gaborik and minor league defensemen Steven Delisle and Blake Parlett to the Columbus Blue Jackets for forwards Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett, defenseman John Moore, and a 2014 sixth round draft pick.. In another bold move the GM adds three young players with considerable talent and upside.
Still plugging holes caused by the Nash trade, and defection of Brandon Prust, Sather pulled off a gem. Clowe, Moore, and Brassard had outstanding debuts in the Rangers 6-1 pasting of the Penquins tonight. Dorsett recuperating from a shoulder injury is expected back before the end of the season.
