Breaking Out The Heritage Jerseys

According to Steve Zipay, the Rangers will be wearing the Heritage Jersey that was worn last year for the Rangers 85th anniversary. This year however, the Rangers will not be wearing the 85th anniversary patch on their jerseys, which makes complete sense.

The Rangers record last season when wearing the Heritage Jerseys was 5-7-0, not that it really means much. The Rangers last played Montreal on March 18th, a 6-3 victory.

The Rangers look to increase their win streak from two games to three tonight. Henrik Lundqvist was the first goalie off of the ice at practice and will be starting tonight. Speculation from a Montreal Radio station has Peter Budaj in net tonight for the Canadiens, although that can change of course.
