It was fun watching the young guys. It puts some hope in the bank. Small sample size, but Garand looks like a real NHL goalie. Chmelar might turn into a big pain in the ass for opponents as a bottom 6 guy. He has that Newbomb drive to the net ability. Maybe he will learn how to finish.
Kartye/Miller/ and dare I say it, Sheary, seem to have some decent chemistry. I see no reason to keep Sheary, but they are producing good shifts. Maybe Sykora fits in with Kartye/Miller.
It was good to see Fortescue get time now that the season is done.
Edstrom has pissed off Sullivan as he has been sitting after a long stretch of games.
It is good to see signs of life for this team.

Chmelar with Kartye and Miller I'd much rather see. I don't see Sheary doing anything more than he has all year which is very little. Now he's riding Kartye's hard work and Miller. Edstrom and Johnny B could be on the fourth line when Chmelar moves up. Wouldn't even be a hiccup if Sheary was dumped. Unfortunately like Mjolnir says we are stuck with him as long as Sullivan can bullshit us with tales of how valuable bro's son in law Sheary is. Expect the enevitable two year contract from Drury any day now. Thats what Sheary needs to reach his 800 games and pension.
