Coach decisions?

As per post sit Cuylle for any reason other than Coach might think he’s flaming out. Not unusual with first year guys.
Then supposedly sitting him again tonight and dressing Rempe so he can get sucked into a meaningless and probable, more than Rempe is ready for fight, with a jersey pylon who’s only claim to fame is fighting. If Rempe wins great, but potential is there for another Columbus licking. There is nothing to be gained. It’s stupid, really putting Rempe in a no win situation. Let them fight next season after Rempe has some more games under his belt.

Guessing a decision to dress Rempe over Cuylle would be to protect the latter from having to fight the Devils' goon MacDermit, though I thought I read somewhere that both were dressing and Brodzinski was sitting. Guess we'll see in a couple of hours.

Rangers have made the playoffs and locked in home ice in the first round.  Not much to be gained for the remaining 7 games other than keeping the top 6 forwards sharp and the bottom 6 fresh.

Game will probably be chippy, especially by the debbies.

I would have Rempe and Cuylle in over Brodzinski

Looks like Laviolette thought the same 🙂

Benching Cuylle seems premature; let him work through it. And putting Rempe in a fight he's not ready for? Bad move. Let him gain more experience first.

Since Cuylle's benching, he had the one real tough game, but then has seemed to respond with more energy and confidence...it appears to have got him rejuvenated and now with Kakko and Wennberg, they seem to have a pretty solid third line.

It's really hard to watch them go through that stuff, especially when they might not be fully prepared for it yet. It's just a bummer that they're having to face those challenges so early on in their careers.
