Panarin constantly leaves the d zone and the Rangers playing 4 on 5 in their own zone

The problem isn't so much that Panarin leaves the zone, it's that both Lafreniere AND Panarin often leave the zone

What happened to the 1-3-1 zone trap? Isles just skate up the ice

I think they shifted to the 1-3-1 zone crap

 

Panarin interfered with trying to break out - no call

another ranger turnover at the isles blueline and Igor needed to save the day for the 18th time

I think his game has been trending that way in the last week or more...not fond that they broke that line up, but I guess we'll see
