Not sure what to say, Rangers looked awful and unstructured again…going to be brutal Tuesday against a team that is really good at making it hard to generate offense.

They had no business getting any points out of that game…if not for Quick

only Ranger skaters I thought were good were Panarin and maybe Jones

Jones continues to play well. He should never sit. Lindgren should sit for a game. Miller was better in that he did not have any of his normal bonehead plays. The 4th line did their job most of the time as did Cuylle. Chytil seems to be forcing things and Kakko is just inconsistent. Trocheck is MIA. I still think Zib is hurt. His normal skating is really lacking . Smith has been decent in the D end, but the other top forwards not so much.All the forwards got caught in the Det end quite a bit leaving the d and quick to face a lot of odd man rushes. Quick was insane. It continues to be easy to get the puck up the ice against the Rangers.

PP, PK, and Goaltending are top notch and carry the Rangers right now. They are not getting near the cup if they do not fix 5 v 5.

Rangers were also lucky that Wings couldn't hit the side of a barn with a shovel....seemed to me they shot wide on a number of partially or fully open nets.....if they had converted on half of them, the game would have had a different result.
