Last season, Tortorella stapled Konecny, Hayes and DeAngelo to the bench for long stretches when they wouldn't follow the game plan. Torts would rip them publicly in the postgame pressers and the Flyers ended up moving on from Hayes and DeAngelo and playing kids instead. This year, the team is winning. It can be done.
