There is a cancer in the dressing room that needs rooting out. I suspect a lot of it revolves around Kreider and young players watching his mostly pathetic puck battles, he does nothing but skate around the ice tapping his stick on the ice looking for easy goals resulted from his linemates working their bag off. And after being moved to a third line, oh the prime time, Power play time he still gets. A power play that sucks and has since the Florida series last year. And yet Pete keeps trotting the same horses out there every game. You want to know what's wrong with Lafreniere, he paid his dues for three years, a breakout year last year, one of the best Ranger forwards in the playoffs. Comes to camp thinking a former number 1 pick is finally going to become a key member of the PP, and barely gets a sniff AGAIN, and gets to sit and watch the Rangers pathetic PP efforts. He started this season well then take your pick new contract or ice time soured him. Whats that old song? Wasting away in Margaritaville. That's him. Add Cuylle who can do anything Kreider can do only better. Should be the net front guy who might actually get in front of the net. You got Jones and Schneider watching Fox blowing snow all over the ice, and what are they thinking. And a coach that rewards no commitment no effort. No wonder this team is fuked.
