Looked like it pinged in off of Trudeau, otherwise Garand had that
Greentree with a nice move in the slot and he gets a chance, but he whiffed that first one, and that gave Daws time to get in position
Blidh ties it with a bullet

The Blidher ties it up...sure Daws would want that one back
Iorio not very good...
Coughs up puck...Meier tucks it in
Garand looks like he's getting the whole game
Fortescue with the twisted wrister makes it 2-2
No Iorio on the bench
Devils win 3-2...two goals deflected in by Rangers against Garand, otherwise a pretty strong performance.
Solid team effort from the Wolf Pack roster against a largely NHL squad
Good Job Wolfpack... Devil goaltending could be their Achilles
If they need me to bleed, then I'll bleed for my team
I saw Garand got third star of game....well deserved.
I liked Garand, liked Fortescue’s shot. I didn’t like 9 forwards and 4 defense for the Rangers that should already be in Hartford playing. With only 4 exhibition games I think tonight was an exercise in wasting an opportunity for new players and old to work on game chemistry. Sorta like New Jersey did. Zero gain in tonight’s lineup except an opportunity for Rempe, Sykora (hurt) and Greentree up front and Robertson and Fortescue on D and Garand in net to show their stuff. The days of 10 game exhibition seasons are long gone.
Disagree. Last night's game was meaningless. With the exception of the final exhibition game, I always thought of these exhibition games as a chance to look at the fringe players and see if anyone rises to the top. Build chemistry? Save that for practices and the final exhibition game. Plus, you don't want to risk injury to key players in a meaningless game. Could have been Dorofeyev not Sykora now on the IR. Look at last season. Laba worked his way onto the team and is now an asset. With the exception of Garand, no one on last night's team is worthy of a second look. Not even Rempe. I'm not sure if Rempe's worthy of being the 13th forward. I would look to trade him rather than lose him on waivers. I think they can get a 2nd rounder from a team that needs toughness.Posted by: @cuyllrangerI liked Garand, liked Fortescue’s shot. I don't see Rempe making this team...From a structural point of view, they Rangers gave up very view odd man rushes(didn't see much of period 3) and were able to get the puck out against an NHL lineup. Now if the NHL lineup can do that against an NHL lineup that would be a plus.Posted by: @steadyeddieDisagree. Last night's game was meaningless.
