Well, they had a higher likelihood of going down than up….not much confidence in Drury picking well anyway

The particular list of which there are dozens from different writer sources doesn't have Caleb Malholtra listed and he's picked by many to go after Mckenna and Stnberg but he is a center so back to need.

Many feel the choice for rangers will be Carel or Verhoeff.  Most "polls" I've seen have Malholtra going in the top 5 as well.  First time I'm seeing Bjorck name at all.

Would like to see Mahlholtra fall to the Rangers or a top dman, which would make moving Schneider or my preference Borgen more palatable. Borgen more so because of the stupid contract Drury gave him.  But would really like to see the Rangers use the second first round pick and maybe Schneider or whatever else they need to, so they can move up enough to grab Wyatt Cullen as a second first round pick. Kids a player will be shocked if he doesn't sneak into top ten territory.

The Rangers might have the rare opportunity to ruin the career of  the son of a former NYR 1st round pick whose career they did their best to ruin.

Third worst record now picking 5th... This is why you tank... but hey we got some real important culture wins down the stretch when it was hopeless that mean absolutely squat. When you suck that bad, you play to win....the lottery.

Haha I'm sure you mean like Andersson, Kravstov and Othmann.

Rangers have a shot  at Malholtra. If McKenna goes 1 and then San Jose goes Dman Vancouver, Stenberg then Chicago the wildcard takes a dman. The Rangers get Malholtra. Best outcome they can hope for otherwise probably a dman, if San Jose or Chicago goes forward.
And my rant getting sick of b grade play by play announcer's and women color commentators. Garbage, because networks have figured out you can have the cheapest announcers and cheaper female color commentators and the fans will still come.

One more win, we get 4th worst record, land in Toronto's spot and come away with #1.

Does it really matter, especially given our track record at picking early in the draft? I say trade the pick for B Tkaczuk.

Proposal on X this morning Fox to San Jose for Number 2 Number 19 this year and Quentin Musty. Rangers could grab a high end forward and defenseman. Or two of Dmen or two forwards. I see what Fox does offensively but I don't see winning a cup with him as the go to Dman. When it gets physical he has no push back.

Do it. Need to get a player in the draft that can fill a need this year. Plus that would free up a shit ton of cap. I would't expect there would be too many takers for Faux with his cap hit, injuries and defensive vulnerabilities.

I think it's a good idea....but at the same time, I don't see Fox waiving to go to the other coast.  Most of his family is in Connecticut, which is one of the reasons he wanted to be here (in addition to Rangers being his "boyhood team").

Here’s hoping the Rangers can actually hit on a pick out of Canadian Major Junior Hockey.
