@x10003q Brodzynski could have been in Hartford. If he cleared waivers after training camp. And he has before. No reason not to have signed him to a minimum contract like Washington did, who then sent him to Hershey and just called him up. Far better option than the bandaids so far. Also admirably filled in other holes.
This is really a non issue. Sullivan only plays his 4th line about 6-7 minutes a game.

On this Rangers team his only F slot would be 4C, if Veleno got hurt and you would have needed a crystal ball to predict Veleno's injury. If Veleno did not get hurt, Brodz has no shot playing NYR wing over Bjork/Radddysh/Chmelar/Sykora/Kartye. Then the Rangers added Tolvenen.
Brodz probably also saw that his NHL days on the NYR were numbered. I am happy that he got $850k with the Caps.
