Yes I think Philly just blew the doors off the few RFA offers over the years, and more offers next year to come. Players with contracts coming up are less likely going to sign before they test the RFA potential offers. Bedard would be a fool to sign early.
Ridiculous. Leo Carlsson is not even a point per game player. He probably will be one day, but are we talking about a generational talent? What is even more ridiculous, is that Anaheim matched. They should have left Philly in a cap hell for a generation. Instead, the Ducks have to sell off just to keep this guy.
