Forward Brandon Mashinter has reportedly signed a one year, $605,000 deal with the Rangers.  Mashinter had been one of two remaining restricted free agents for New York, with Derek Stepan now the lone un-signed player.

The 6-3, 224lb Canadian born Mashinter has played 17 games in the NHL, and is yet to register a point.  He appeared in four contests for the Blueshirts last season after being acquired from the Sharks for a 7th round pick and prospect Tommy Grant.

He looks to project again as a depth fourth liner for the organization.
