Multiple Changes Tonight?

The Rangers go into tonight’s Game 4 with Boston looking a little different than they have in the previous three games.  Anton Stralman will be out with an injury suffered in a Milan Lucic hit during Game 3, and will likely be replaced by veteran Roman Hamrlik, who will be playing in his team leading 112th NHL playoff game, and first as a Ranger.

But the changes get a little more interesting from there…

Veteran Brad Richards will be a healthy scratch for the first time in his career, after falling to a fourth line role through ineffectual play.  Richards will possibly be replaced by Kris Newbury on the fourth line, while Arron Asham and Chris Kreider also look like they’ll make way for Micheal Haley and the return of the injured Ryane Clowe respectively.

Clowe has played just two of the ten Ranger games so far, missing Games 1-4 and 7 in the Washington series, and all three in the Boston series.  Haley will be making his NHL Playoff debut after having played 52 regular season games with the Isles and Rangers across four seasons.
