First action of the preseason with the Ranger rookies travelling to Pennsylvania today for a 5:00pm game against the Flyers rookies. We’re yet to get the line-up for tonight, though expect to see most of the guys who were cleared for on-ice work to get a look tonight. You’ll probably see the lines published shortly before the game.

I won’t have the opportunity to watch tonight’s game, but if you do, then it’ll be broadcast on the Flyers official website, expect it to spin up shortly before the game actually starts.

Last season Noah Laba began to make and impression during these games, despite not being amongst the offensive leaders. Those guys – Brennan Othmann and Scott Morrow each with 4 points – didn’t make as much of an impact last season. Othmann ended up getting traded mid-way through the season.
