Bye Pete not sure it’s your fault but it’s the way it works. And then some moves.

Plenty of blame to go around...from Drury to Laviolette to of course the players for not showing up.  Hard to know where to go, but changing the coach is the easiest.  If Drury though is the problem, and he's broken the trust with the players, then it's not going to matter who is behind the bench.

As for Laviolette, I think his focus on hybrid man on man in the d-zone and his desire to have the defense join the offense is perhaps not a great fit for the players they have, and when you couple that with the effort that the team is laying out there, then you get what we're getting.

Not sure what the best course of action is, but maybe it's time to move on from Drury.

It’s a situation where something has to happen. You can hate your GM’s guts but I think it comes down to you still play for your coach. The Rangers are flat out not playing for Pete. And Drurys paws are all over this too. It’s time for both to go. Can’t see firing Drury making a difference with Laviolette behind the bench. It’s a terrible mess right now, you gas those two you obviously need replacements hopefully capable of moving this team into a deeper playoff run. Doubt a GM and coach are out there to do that. Who is available, proven winner types? None that jump out at me. You don’t want to be giving out long term contracts to just anybody. Better will be available this summer. It’s a mess with Drury’s paw prints all over it.

The core is the problem. Drury knows it. But he can't move any of them with their contracts.

Our top center is no longer a top center. Minus 14. WTF happened? Too many hits to the head? Getting old fast? He looks off in all aspects. His patented one-timer on the PP is gone. Timing off. Zib is not the only reason, but it's one reason.

The coach has lost this team. Is it the due to the GM intervening? Idk, but the lack of backchecking and the crappy man-on-man d-zone coverage points to the coach.

I know it's been discussed already, but the Kreider-Trouba media leak smells of Dolan. Drury just a pawn.
