I could see that happening. Especially since they now have an extra $4 million to play with.
Drury needs to be smart with the $4,000,000, because Chytill is done. That could be very very helpful this summer when most of the wheeling dealing gets done at the draft. Until they get their act together acquiring at the deadline would be stupid. That cap money and one of their core players being convinced to take a trade, would be a good opportunity in the summer, to do a good reset. Although I don’t think Drury is the guy to do it.
Maybe if Kreider would skate forward into the offensive zone like everyone else he wouldn't take himself offsides.
