I don't watch or follow Formula 1 or Indycar, just Nascar. Nascar is going back to North Wilkesboro this year. What made you stop watching?
After Earnhardt Sr. died, the sport seemed to change. They dropped the smaller tracks, the drivers hired publicists to tell them how to act and what not to say, CoT, competition yellows, etc. Just lost interest over the following decade as the racing became less interesting overall.
North Wilkesboro was a nice reminder of how NASCAR used to be. Drivers having to learn to drive an imperfect track unknown to most of them added an interesting element.

The positive is Jones last two games have been good. Mackey needs more playing to make sure he is a viable option as a replacement, and any more of the way he played and fought last night then he should be in the lineup. With the exception of Trouba and Schneider when the mood strikes him, and the to small Lindgren the Ranger D is way to soft and to obliging to crease crashing opposing forwards. Mackey is a viable replacement for Gustafsson who has zero phsicality. Its about changing the type of game they play. You can only do that with guys that play the way you want them to.
Jones had a goal, an assist and was +4 on the night.

Wouldn’t watch it if they played in my backyard. And I am somewhat surprised based on his play Shestorokin accepted a game invite and is actually going. There is such a thing as deserving to be there .
