Yeah, he came in with below average skating...more of a crease protector, but he's reportedly improved on the skating, so will be something worth watching.  He's also playing the opposite side from what he typically plays in Hartford

 

D men don't have to be fast, they need to be able to read the play and not get beat. Clearing the crease is good!

He needs to convert on some of the pretty plays. He isn't ever going to be a shutdown d-man.

Well with the recent traffic cones like Nemeth, Tinordi and to some extent Harpur...there's something to be said for mobility
