Some good stuff last night. Laf eleminating any scoring monkey that might have been on his back. Dorkstrand showing some of what the Rangers pro scouting staff saw in him, along with Tolvanen. Petterssen not so much. But signs Rangers might have some pro scouts with some 20/20 vision. And Beaudin who did not look out of place at all. Had a couple close calls, and lived his dog on a bone rep. A few more games like that and he might be hard to send back to Hartford. As mentioned by Doug Glatt the Trocheck trade return of Durzi and Beaudin and a 2027 third round pick looking like a solid win for the Rangers. Personally I didn't think much of Trochecks last two seasons in New York. He fell off the rails after a strong season helping lead the Rangers to the Conference finals three years ago. Beaudin has got special player all over him.
