Brendan Bell 1

Bell to debut, Wolski a healthy scratch

Brendan Bell is set to makr his first appearance as a Rnger tonight, and it will be his first NHL game since April 11th, 2009 when he played for the Ottawa Senators.   He was a -3 in that game and you’d have to go back almost another month, to March 17th, 2009 for his last NHL goal.

Bell willl get his start in place of Jeff Woywitka, whom the coach thinks might be a liability against the fasr skating Oilers.  Woywitka has played the last three games in place of the injured Mike Sauer.

Tortorella also elected to go with the same forth line from the previous two games despite the fact that Wojtek Wolski is apparently ready to go.  Wolski may have to wait for Christensen r Newbury to falter before he gets back in the line-up.
