I can also watch other teams and lately have been following the FL Panthers. They have a strong front office and coaching... And now have Brady and Matt Tkachuk and a great supporting cast. I suspect after their injury issues of last season they will come back strong next season if they have good health.

At my age it’s hard to be patient waiting for the inevitable Drury and Sullivan firing and the new regime that would take over. They would have to prove they have what it takes to make some quick improvements, to get the Rangers even just back into the playoffs. This is going to be a haul out of the hole dreary has created.

Nichushkin made way to much sense for Dreary to wake up for. $6.1 mill per til 29-30 Rangers would have the cap hit but financially a lot of upfront money has been paid. Could fill a second line spot and not a big risk as the Rangers transition hopefully some day bringing in actual stud prospects. Not the be all but would contribute.

That and I lost even more respect after Sullivan beaked off about Lafreniere’s improved play once the Rangers got rid of Panarin. Anyone that watched the Rangers could see
Lafrenière was playing free not having to look for Panarin every time he got the puck. His game loosened up. And he got a rightful spot on the PowerPlay. Yet there was Sullivans taking the credit because he and the coaching staff had finally convinced Lafreniere he had to go into the high traffic Area’s. That one really rubbed me the wrong way.
