John Tortorella

No easy ones now.

Last night the Rangers played their final game, against a opponent they were probably looking past. Especially after getting up 4-1. They need to win at least four out of their remaining seven games, to lock up a playoff spot, and that won’t be easy.

On the road against, the high flying Penguins and Hurricanes, a recently average Bruins team, a home tilt against Jersey thrown in, and its a tough start. Follow that up with a home game against the playoff bound Canadians, a home and home with the healthy Flyers, and you have all the ingredients for a playoff hopes wilt. Florida with a much easier remaining schedule is going to force it right down to the wire.

The question appears to be which Ranger team will play these next seven games. If its the gung ho attack team, we have seen under Torts, its still going to be a job. If its the team we saw the last two games, break out the clubs.
