Following Wednesday’s night 7-3 loss to Colorado, the Rangers have made a number of moves to adjust their roster. Rookie netminder Adam Huska who was in net for all seven goals, has been reassigned to Hartford, with veteran Keith Kinkaid called up in his spot.
Also returned to Hartford was forward Morgan Barron, who had been called up as cover for Greg McKegg who had been in COVID protocol. McKegg completed his isolation Wednesday and returned to the roster, forcing Barron to be reassigned to maintain the 23 man roster limit.
In a move earlier this week, the Rangers also reassigned goaltender Tyler Wall to Hartford as cover for first Huska and now Kinkaid. Wall had been playing for the Rangers’ ECHL affiliate in Jacksonville.
