Reports out of Russia today – via Laurie Carr of Beyond the Blueshirts – that 2010 seventh round pick Mikhail Pashnin is considering an offer from the New York Rangers, and is expected to come to North America to play this coming season.
The steady defender has spent the past two years playing for CSKA Moscow in the KHL, but according to his Russian coach – former Ranger Sergei Nemchinov – has decided to take a shot at making it to the NHL.
